Yay!

Dear Reader,

Today is the start of something big!  CEMO Designs first web presence!  After much hemming and hawing I have finally created a blog so you the reader can share in CEMO Design's great doings.

Background:

The idea for custom etched glassware came over several years.  I have always loved vintage glassware and have had a modest collection of glasses in my own cupboard.  One day some friends and I were talking and someone brought up the idea of etching.  I did some research and realized it was within my grasp.  After a trip to Hobby Lobby CEMO Designs was born!  My first etch was a whale with a party hat on a glass I had lying around the house.

I have always loved to visit thrift shops and began to notice there are millions of unwanted cool glasses out there.  That's when I made the decision to only use glassware I could find in the thrift shops, making my product recycled and environmentally sound.

My Designs:

In the begining CEMO Designs mainly focused on animal designs.  From giraffes to penguins to scorpions it is available on a glass.  Currently I am expanding my horizons to other interesting designs as well.  Newest additons include hearts, cameos and rockets.

I have also done many custom orders such as longhorns and dragonflies.

Where to find my produts:

I currently sell my items in many stores in the Austin area and at one store all the way in Rhode Island!
You can also contact me directly to custom order glasses.
